HALF WAY through 2010 and we have just had our first touch of winter weather, which has brought much needed rain with it, hopefully breaking the drought.

The spin-off from the World Cup Soccer Tournament gave our June figures, usually a bad winter month for us, - a welcome boost. The road- works on the two passes, making access very difficult, did not deter many USA, English, Swedes and S.American soccer fans from visiting our guesthouse situated in this amazing nature spot.

Our Otter Trail Special on Bed and Breakfast remains a great favourite, and we have had the privilege of meeting wonderful groups of hikers, with many returnees, from all around the world.
We continue to offer a transfer service between the start and finish; in a smaller vehicle, usually the drivers of the cars, which keeps down their costs.

The days start getting longer, heralding summer in a few months time. We look forward to welcoming many new guests from different lands, introducing them to the wonders of unspoilt paradise. #
